Aden has been watching the Grammys tonight and was happy that Coldplay played and I think he also liked Bruno Mars dancing around. He also liked seeing Stevie Wonder introduce Paul McCartney, though he didn't like the Valentine song he played. It looks like McCartney will play again later, so we told Aden we would record the rest for him since it's coming up on bed time. He also liked the Civil Wars coming to the stage to present and "thanking all their opening acts, and that kid from Liverpool looks promising." Aden caught on right away that they were making a joke about McCartney and started chuckling. He also just told me he wants to make sure we record when Adele sings. Apparently he likes her too.
But here was his favorite thing about the show, a commercial for Chipotle. If Aden is their target market, they hit it spot on. Tractors, check. Coldplay, check. Animated farm scenes, check.
